“Beatmakers” Makes A Comeback
Atlanta, GA Feburary 12 – Laron Austin’s Award-Winning Hip-Hop Documentary “Beat Makers” has seen a spike in interest after news of the feature film “Battle” was announced earlier this year. Austin’s Hip-Hop Documentary about up and coming music producers inspired the feature film. “Beat Makers” was one of the first Hip-Hop projects featured on You Tube’s Gold Channel, You Tube has seen an increase in traffic of over ten thousand hits over the past several months.
“Battle” is a coming of age drama about an unknown struggling producer who pursues his passion for composing music. He wants to produce music for the top rappers in the industry and be respected as a producer worldwide.
He must find his way and his own soul for his music before he faces off at the Iron Chef Beat Battle competition. 16 talented contestants compete but only one can be left standing at the end of this explosive producers “Battle”.
The film stars Chris Burns (THE LENA BAKER STORY, SOMEBODIES), Onira Tares’ (JACK SQUAD) and Introducing Hip-Hop producer turned actor Conrad “HeadRoc” Clifton from the Atlanta based group BATTERY FIVE.
The film also stars the up and coming Errol Sadler, and hollywood heavyweights E. Roger Mitchell from (S.W.A.T., DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN, DADDY’S LITTLE GIRLS, and the soon to be released THE CRAZIES) as well as Emmy-nominated Actor Taurean Blacque from the NBC 80’s drama hit (HILL STREET BLUES).
